I like the gold texture paired with navy blue, which makes the design overall look elegant, but the quirkiness of the 'g' for balance and the slightly asymmetrical weight of it doesn't work with the theme. My favorite design is the 'g' for economy because it most creative/not inspired by traditional script.

Elements of Art

Inspired by Beyonce's Lemonade - Initially just a trial theme for fun but later saw how I could smoothly incorporate the elements of art into it: Similar to a recipe, the elements of art are essential to apply to one's work of art to ensure wholeness.
 
Scrapped ideas:
Created this one for the sake of having something to turn it.. No real purpose behind design other than aesthetic  + minimalism which is why I discarded this design.
Gold texture; raster image
I liked where it was going but wasn't sure how to nicely portray texture without disrupting the flow of the simplistic design.
